Privacy Policy

When you paste or upload data and press Run analysis, the values are sent to our calculation server, the analysis is computed, and the result is returned to your browser. Excel, PDF and Word reports are generated on request and sent straight to you.

• We do not save your datasets or results on our servers after the calculation is complete.
• We do not read, sell, publish or reuse your data, and we never use it to train any model.
• Your data remains yours, along with every table and report produced from it.

If you upload sensitive data, such as information about patients or survey respondents, remove names and other identifiers first.

Information you give us. If you contact us, or once accounts and paid plans are available, we may collect:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Institution, department or university (optional)
• Messages you send to us

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of the visit. It is used to keep the website secure and working, not to identify you personally.

When paid plans are available, payments will be processed by a secure payment gateway such as Razorpay. We do not see or store your card number, UPI PIN or net-banking password. The gateway's own privacy policy applies to the details you enter there. We keep only what we need for accounts and tax records, such as the plan bought, amount, date and transaction reference.

• To send important notices about your account, payments or changes to the service
• To keep the website secure and prevent misuse
• To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements

We send promotional emails only if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

StatPlot does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add sign-in, a small cookie will be used to keep you logged in. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run StatPlot:

• Hosting providers that run the website and the calculation server (for example, Vercel)
• A payment gateway for processing payments, once paid plans are available
• An authentication and database provider for accounts, once accounts are available
• Government authorities, where the law requires it

All traffic between your browser and StatPlot is encrypted with HTTPS (SSL). We limit access to personal information to what is needed to run the service. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Research data is not stored after the calculation. Account and contact details are kept while your account is active, or as long as needed to answer your request. Payment records are kept for the period required by Indian tax law.

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your account, by writing to your-email@example.com. We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

StatPlot is meant for students, researchers and professionals. It is not directed at children under 18.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Important changes will also be announced on the website.
